Product Description

This drip hose is a quality solution for people who understand the secret to effective watering, which is to apply water slowly and deeply. When you water slowly, the water has time to soak deeply into the soil and very little water is wasted. Most watering systems apply water too quickly and the water flows away from the plant you intended to water as runoff, or a puddle sits on the surface being evaporated.

Experienced gardeners know that plants benefit with deep soakings, versus watering a small amount of water everyday. This system is designed to be used for 3-8 hours at a time. Gardeners in areas that are more prone to drought will especially benefit from the preciseness of the waterwise drip hose. The drip hose has emitters that are spaced 1 foot apart. Each emitter releases a half gallon of water per hour. So it is easy to calculate water usage. For example, if you have a 50 foot drip hose and you water for an hour then 25 gallons of water will be emitted along the entire drip hose.

The drip hose is lightweight and easy to move around, yet it is also durable. The drip hose is made in the USA of high quality polyethylene with carbon black, so it is able to last for years in the sun. The hose may can be buried under soil or placed under mulch. The drip hose also comes with a built in pressure regulator and filter. The pressure regulator ensures your drip emitters are emitting the same amount of water throughout the entire drip hose, instead of more water closer to the hose and less further away that is typical to most soaker hoses. The built in filter also prevents your drip hose from clogging. The filter can even be removed for a cleaning if your water source has an abundance of minerals.

Gardeners who have used this product have said that they have seen an improvement in the health of their plants. We are confident that you will notice a difference as well.

Note: These drip hoses will kink if you try to bend them around a sharp corner; however, we do sell tubing that could be used to overcome this problem. Learn how this tubing can also transform your drip hose into a custom system.
